NetDespatch powered retail counter boosts orders at Western Couriers

Welsh APC Overnight depot Western Couriers is hailing the success of an innovative high street style parcel post service aimed at the public. The APC “retail counter” uses the unique NetDespatch web-based booking and tracking system that has benefitted Western’s APC customers for over two years, substantially increasing the depot’s profits.

Conveniently located and near to a busy children’s play centre, the retail counter is open until 7 pm, Monday to Friday and until 12 noon on Saturday. It is fully equipped with weigh scales and offers a packing facility should customers require it. Customers simply call in with their consignments, pay with cash, credit or debit card and the job is booked in using NetDespatch. The simple to use web-based system produces the barcoded label and provides tracking for the consignment through to the point of delivery as it passes through the APC Overnight national network. It also provides proof of delivery should the customer require it.
